Scope - The scope for this Work Group includes staying current with industry efforts related
to Image Quality and identifying potential gaps, including tolerance levels for images of
return items. The Image Quality Work Group will evaluate and recommend a common set of
business practices with respect to image quality.
Objectives and Deliverables - This Work Group will develop and document the following practices:
Develop a companion guide for 'common' use of TIFF 6.0
Document 'default settings' associated with various vendor and financial institution IQA settings in order to identify gaps
Outline the need for adopting standard edit criteria for file exchanges
Document and adopt 'common' edit practices
Review edit criteria and recommend a go-forward strategy
Ensure 'end-to-end' electronics is factored into the analysis
